Minimum Requirements

  • Certified Oklahoma peace officer in good standing (CLEET certified)
  • Minimum of 3 years law enforcement experience; investigative experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of criminal law, investigative procedures, and evidence handling
  • Ability to conduct interviews, collect statements, and prepare accurate, detailed reports
  • Proficient with technology including case management systems and digital evidence tool
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage caseloads, and maintain confidentiality
  • Must pass background investigation, drug screening, and psychological evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct criminal investigations from initial report through case filing
  • Collect, analyze, and preserve physical and digital evidence
  • Interview victims, witnesses, and suspects
  • Prepare detailed reports and case files for prosecution
  • Work collaboratively with patrol, other agencies, and the District Attorney’s Office
