Minimum Requirements
- Certified Oklahoma peace officer in good standing (CLEET certified)
- Minimum of 3 years law enforcement experience; investigative experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of criminal law, investigative procedures, and evidence handling
- Ability to conduct interviews, collect statements, and prepare accurate, detailed reports
- Proficient with technology including case management systems and digital evidence tool
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, manage caseloads, and maintain confidentiality
- Must pass background investigation, drug screening, and psychological evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct criminal investigations from initial report through case filing
- Collect, analyze, and preserve physical and digital evidence
- Interview victims, witnesses, and suspects
- Prepare detailed reports and case files for prosecution
- Work collaboratively with patrol, other agencies, and the District Attorney’s Office
