Minimum Requirements

• CLEET Full-Time Certified, COPS Graduate, Reserve Certified. Non-certified may be considered
• Ability to attend Reserve Academy within 6 months if not certified
• At least 21 Years of Age at date of hire
• United States Citizen with Oklahoma Driver’s License
• Highschool Diploma or GED
• No felony convictions, domestic violence incidents, or extensive driving record
• No involuntary commitment to mental institution; must pass MMPI
• Must pass comprehensive background investigation
• Willingness to work 12 hour shifts, holidays, and weekends
• Must commit to 16 hours per month minimum and attendance of all community events

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will live in close proximity to the Town with the ability to respond to any emergency situations. We look for individuals who have a heart for serving the community and a desire to be involved in the community, setting the example, and increasing the cooperation between the police and community members.
