Lt. Elijah Hass

Elijah Hass started law enforcement in January of 2008 with the Krebs Police Department, later joining McAlester Police Department May of 2014 where he is currently serving as a Lieutenant.
He is currently the president of the McAlester Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Lodge 97. He serves as a board member for the Oklahoma FOP Labor Council, and was appointed to the CLEET Council by the State FOP executive board.
He has a bachelor's degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in criminal justice.
In his time in law enforcement he has served in several roles. These included a task force officer with the DEA task force, McAlester swat team, a field training officer, and a sergeant with McAlester Police Department. He is also a CLEET certified defensive tactics instructor and has instructed at several basic academies and reserve academies.
Lt. Hass married his wife in 2009 and they have two children together.
