LMFT Annual Renewal
Deadlines:
The deadline for the LMFT annual renewal is December 31st. In order to renew your license without penalty, your completed renewal materials must be submitted on or before the expiration date of your license.
Fees:
The annual renewal fee is $100.00.
Number of Hours Required:
You must document 20 hours of continuing education including three (3) hours of therapy ethics. If you are an approved supervisor you must document three (3) hours of therapy supervision every year.
In order to maintain your status as an LPC approved supervisor you must complete three (3) hours of continuing education in counseling supervision each renewal period. If you do not complete the requirement annually and you wish to renew your approved supervisor status, you are required to complete and submit the hours for the years you did not not renew.
