LMFT Annual Renewal

Deadlines:

The deadline for the LMFT annual renewal is December 31st. To renew your license without penalty, your completed renewal materials must be submitted on or before the expiration date of your license.

Fees:

  • The annual renewal fee is $100.00.

Requirments:

  • You need to complete at least 20 hours of therapy related continuing education to maintain your license. 
  • Within those 20 hours, 3 of them have to specifically be in therapy ethics.

Approved Supervisors:

  • You need to complete 3 hours of continuing education in therapy supervision to maintain your LMFT Approved Supervisor status.
