Verification of Academic Standing

Effective July 25, 2024, applicants for licensure may request the issuance of an exam eligibility period prior to receiving a conferred degree on the official transcript for licensure. This request is optional and is not required. To request an exam eligibility period prior to receiving the conferred degree an applicant must submit:

  • Application for licensure.
  • Application fee.
  • Practicum/Internship Documentation Form.
  • Completed criminal background check.
  • Unofficial graduate transcript.
  • Verification of Academic Standing.

Once the application for licensure, application fee, Practicum/Internship Documentation Form, and the completed criminal background check have been submitted to the Board for review; the applicant may email the unofficial graduate transcript and Verification of Academic Standing to info.behavioralhealth@bbhl.ok.gov

The Verification of Academic Standing must be signed by the administrator and/or school official of the student’s/applicant’s degree program indicating that the student/applicant is expected to fulfill all degree requirements by the expected graduation date.

The Verification of Academic Standing cannot be signed and dated, or submitted to the Board, more than 60 days prior to the expected date graduation.
