Subject: February 2023 MSU Provider Training Opportunities
Date: January 3, 2023
The Medicaid Services Unit is pleased to announce online registration is now open for the following training opportunities in February 2023. Registration will close 5 business days prior to the date of each training.
Participants should join these online trainings from a computer with a stable internet connection, camera, speakers and microphone. Some offered trainings require attendees to complete pre-training knowledge assessments prior to the training and successful completion of post-training knowledge assessments to become certified. Participant cameras are required to remain on during any required certification testing.
After completing the online registration, participants will be emailed information about joining the virtual training via Zoom, and when appropriate, instructions for accessing training materials on the Oklahoma Learning Management System (OKLMS).
ADvantage Assisted Living (AL) Case Manager Certification Training
Wednesday, February 1, 2023, via Zoom from 9:00 am – 4:30 pm (sign-in begins at 8:45 am)
Case Management agencies must have a certified Assisted Living Case Manager Supervisor and Case Manager before their agency can serve or accept AL Members. Prerequisite: Three months experience as an ADvantage Case Manager; six months experience is preferred. Please use the following link for more information and to register for the training:

ADvantage Assisted Living and Adult Day Health (ADH) Provider Training
Thursday, February 2, 2023, via Zoom from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (sign-in begins at 9:45 am)
During this training MSU will share information about process improvements, system updates, and maintaining critical focal points, including HCBS requirements, specific to AL and ADH. The information presented is crucial to how Providers will successfully conduct business and is recommended for AL and ADH Directors, Registered Nurses, Directors of Nursing, Intake Personnel, Activities Directors, and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Managers. ADvantage Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Services & Supports (CDPASS) Case Manager Certification Training
Thursday, February 16, 2023, via Zoom from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm (sign-in begins at 8:45 am)
Case Management agencies must have a certified CDPASS Case Manager Supervisor and Case Manager before their agency can serve or accept Members who choose the CDPASS service option. Prerequisite: Three months experience as an ADvantage Case Manager; six months experience is preferred.
