Service Information

Remote Supports and Assistive Technology (RS) is intended to promote independence and allow the ADvantage Member to direct their own care. RS services are provided in the Member's home to increase the opportunity for self-direction and reduce reliance on in-person support, while ensuring the Member's health and safety.

Remote Supports technology allows a remotely located person to support the Member without being physically present at the same location. The Member communicates with Remote Supports staff through phone calls or video chat. The Member’s information is never shared or recorded and is protected, secure, and used only to ensure their safety in the home.

Assistive Technology (AT) is any device, item, or equipment used to increase, maintain, and improve the capabilities of individuals. Assistive Technology can positively impact a person's quality of life by improving their ability to independently complete daily living tasks. 

Any ADvantage Member can request the Remote Support service or request Assistive Technology through their ADvantage Case Manager.
