Redhawk

Established in May 2025, Redhawk provides a safe, supportive, and healing environment for adolescent males. We recognize that each young person in our care has a unique story, and we are committed to offering individualized, trauma-responsive programming that fosters healing, growth, and empowerment.

Our approach is centered on understanding the impact of trauma and creating an environment where youth feel safe, supported, and respected. At Redhawk, we put the Youth First. We believe in measurable, outcome-driven care that prioritizes each youth’s emotional well-being and personal development.

Therapeutic Services

Each youth receives an individualized treatment plan tailored to their specific needs, strengths, and goals. Our licensed therapists provide weekly individual therapy, offering a space for healing and self-discovery. Recognizing the importance of connection and support, we prioritize family involvement through monthly family therapy sessions, fostering stronger relationships and support systems.

In addition to individual therapy, youth participate in twice-weekly group therapy sessions, where they build social skills, develop healthy peer relationships, and practice emotional regulation in a supportive setting.

Family & Community Engagement

We understand the importance of maintaining meaningful connections with family and loved ones. Youth have scheduled phone calls daily to stay in touch with their support systems. Additionally, Redhawk offers visitation Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with Sunday visits available upon request. Families that are needing a visitation time outside of the timeframes provided are able to request those through the program director at Redhawk. Families are encouraged to schedule visits to ensure quality time together.

Education & Career Development

We believe in equipping youth with the tools they need for academic success and future independence. Through our partnership with Canute Schools, we offer online high school classes and GED preparation. Many of our residents graduate with their high school diploma or earn their GED while in our care.

To support career readiness, we provide access to career exploration where youth gain knowledge to explore and prepare for their future. Redhawk also offers micro-certifications to allow youth to grow in their career-ready skills. Certifications that are encouraged are Food Handlers Permit, CPR, HIPAA compliance, and many other certifications that are directly related to a specific field. Upon completion, they receive a certification that can assist in future employment. Redhawk utilizes an online program, Alison Courses and Certifications, to provide youth with the knowledge and skills he is interested in.

Community Involvement & Life Skills

Giving back to the community is an essential part of building self-worth and a sense of purpose. Youth have opportunities to participate in community service projects, helping them develop responsibility and empathy while earning service hours.

Youth will also have the opportunity to engage in the community while doing fun activities. Redhawk also will grow in community partnerships that allow the program and youth more access to community resources, activities, and individuals to be a part of their support system.

While at Redhawk, youth will also be provided group and individual activities that will allow them to learn life skills that are essential to adulthood. Life skill areas offered will include budgeting and money management, cooking, laundry and household maintenance, transportation awareness, drivers permit readiness, and housing information.

Recreation & Wellness

Physical activity and recreation are integral to overall well-being. We offer a variety of activities each month to encourage movement, creativity, and enjoyment. Youth also participate in monthly outings, exploring new experiences such as visiting the zoo, horseback riding, attending movies, and dining at restaurants. These opportunities promote confidence, teamwork, and social engagement.

At Redhawk, we are committed to providing a nurturing and trauma-responsive environment where every young person can heal, grow, and build a brighter future.
