Manitou - The Southwest Oklahoma Juvenile Center has a group of volunteers who lead programs for young men in the hope of leading them down a better path once they are released.
There are currently 35 volunteers who serve in a variety of capacities, according to Maggie Dawson, the center's Volunteer Service Specialist. She said volunteers lead church services each Sunday and Bible study sessions at the other times, participate in the center's mentoring program and speak at assemblies and special events.
