The Oklahoma Office of Juvenile Affairs (OJA) is taking the next step in identifying a design-build team for the “Next Generation Facility”to be located at the current Central Oklahoma Juvenile Center in Tecumseh,OK. Parties interested in presenting their qualifications to lead the project may access the request for qualifications (RFQ) at www.ok.gov/oja/NextGenerationFacility. The deadline for submission is August 6, 2018.
“OJA’s next generation campus is a critical step forward in providing rehabilitative and therapeutic services in a facility specifically designed for juvenile justice programming.The release of the RFQ is an important phase of construction and we look forward to hearing from qualified firms about the value and skill they can offer our agency during this exciting project,” said Steven Buck, Executive Director of OJA.
Construction will occur in phases with the residential and programming elements beginning in the middle of state fiscal year 2019.
