Purpose

The purpose of the Virtual Open House is to present information about the proposed improvements to the SH-66 in Rogers County and obtain information from the public to further assist in the indentification of critical social, economic, and environmental effects that may result from the project.

Description

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), is proposing roadway improvements on SH-266 from 0.45 miles east of the Tulsa County line, extending east 2.25 miles to the junction of SH-266/SH-167 intersection in Rogers County. The purpose and need for this project is to improve both safety and traffic flow along this segment of SH-266.

The 2.5 mile portion of SH-266 from US-169 to the beginning of this project was let for construction in September of 2015. The purpose of this public meeting is to present the proposed design, results of the environmental studies and obtain input to aid ODOT in moving forward with the completion of the environmental document, design, and subsequent construction.
