The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), is proposing to improve the I-44/SH-36 interchange and reconstruct I-44 pavement from the Red River Bridge at the Texas State line extending north 1.24 miles through the SH-36 interchange in Cotton County, Oklahoma.

A Public Meeting is being held to present the project information. The meeting will include a presentation about the proposed new interchange design, including why the improvements are needed, the type of improvements proposed, and the expected impacts to motorists and the surrounding community. The purpose of the meeting is to obtain information from the public to further assist in the identification of critical social, economic and environmental effects that may result from the project.
