I-35 narrows for bridge project near Braman beginning Monday

Friday, June 11, 2021

This project is weather permitting:

Northbound and southbound I-35 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction between W. Braman Rd. (mm 230) and US-177 (mm 221) in Braman in Kay County starting at 8 a.m. Monday, June 14. Motorists are advised to expect narrowed lanes and congestion in the area and to plan extra travel time.

The nearly $11 million contract was awarded in April by the Oklahoma Transportation Commission to Wildcat Construction Co. Inc. of Wichita, Kan. Work is expected to take nearly a year to complete by late summer 2022.
