Secretary Deborah Moorad Named Interim Executive Director of OCAST
At a special meeting held Monday, March 2, 2026, the OSTRaD Board unanimously appointed Secretary Deborah Moorad as interim executive director of the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology (OCAST).
Secretary Moorad will serve in this interim capacity on a volunteer basis until a replacement is found. She will not be a candidate for the permanent position and will work in conjunction with the board to conduct a search for the permanent executive director.
The Board expressed its appreciation for Secretary Moorad’s willingness to step into this leadership role during a period of transition and to provide stability and continuity for OCAST’s programs, partners, and stakeholders.
Further updates regarding the search for a permanent executive director will be provided as they become available.
