OARS Tip No. 2 comin' your way this Wednesday...
It's groundbreaking. Are you ready for it?
Study The FOA.
I can't say this enough.
The FOA, or Funding Opportunity Announcement, is essentially your instruction manual, providing guidance on what needs to be included in your application. This is true for nearly any grant opportunity/solicitation.
Specifically in the OARS or Intern Partnerships FOA, you'll find:
✔ Eligibility requirements
✔ Project Plan sections and format
✔ Additional required attachments
✔ OGX instructions
✔ Review criteria
👉🏻 Use the FOA Project Plan instructions to make your application template to ensure you've addressed all sections
👉🏻 Compare your draft Project Plan to the review criteria to ensure you've addressed key areas that reviewers evaluate
👉🏻 Print the handy-dandy checklist so you don't forget any required documents or sections!
👉🏻 Ask OCAST staff questions if something isn't clear - any question is a good question!
