The goal of Oklahoma Early Hearing Detection & Intervention (EHDI) is to improve outcomes through newborn screening, early diagnosis, and intervention for children with hearing loss. To accomplish this, Oklahoma EHDI uses the 1-3-6 guidelines.

Beginning with birth year 2024, preliminary EHDI data will be available by the end of the first quarter two years later and final OK EHDI data will be available by the end of the first quarter three years later. For example: For birth year 2024 preliminary data will be available by March 31st, 2026 and final data will be available by March 31st, 2027.

Differences in the numbers provided on the infographics below and the data available on the CDC EHDI website are due to differences in timing of data analysis.
