This four-video series covers common scenarios responders may encounter and provides tips for achieving positive outcomes.

Through five focused video modules, you’ll learn:

• Common Dementia Challenges
• Stress Responses in Dementia
• Avoiding Stress Responses
• Positive Physical Approach
• Summarizing Intervention Techniques

Upon completion of the 6 modules and the associated quiz within each module, you may request a Certificate of Completion via email. This online course will help prepare you to respond to common calls involving a person with dementia. Start at the Briefing for tips and information that can help in any situation. Then, hear from other first responders and learn how to respond to typical calls. Complete a quiz in all topics to earn a certificate or simply review those most relevant to your role.
