Child Guidance Program

The Child Guidance Program provides administration of the Child Guidance Program and the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS) Child Care Warmline. These programs provide support and training to children birth to age 13, their parents and caregivers.  Although the Child Guidance Program does not have eligibility criteria, it works closely with mandated programs such as SoonerStart (IDEA Part C) and the public schools (IDEA Part B) to provide a safety net to children and families who do not qualify for those services but are at risk for behavioral, developmental or communication delays.

Child Guidance Program is available through 15 regional hubs located within local county health departments, and through contracts with the Child Study Center in Oklahoma County and the Tulsa Health Department in Tulsa County.
