Navigating Community Resources (with OCCY)

Description

Connecting families to the right resources often depends on what happens in the moments after a case is identified. This training brings together professionals from law enforcement, child welfare, prosecution, medical, and behavioral health to build a shared approach to finding, organizing, and communicating local family-serving resources. Participants will be equipped with practical tools and techniques for identifying local family-serving resources, organizing and communicating those resources effectively, and building strong relationships with community providers. Participants will gain strategies to streamline resource searches, improve collaboration across systems, and strengthen their ability to connect families with timely, appropriate support
