Join us for “Recognizing and Responding to Elder Abuse in Tribal Communities,” a vital conversation tailored for law enforcement, victim services professionals, and advocates. Attendees will learn to identify signs of elder mistreatment, understand the importance of cultural awareness and community engagement, and explore ways to build effective partnerships with both Tribal and non-Tribal Adult Protective Services.
This session will also highlight how elder protection codes and Tribal elder protection teams can strengthen efforts to prevent and respond to abuse while honoring community values.
