SARTs: Explore the Deeper Meaning; Behind Meeting as a Multidisciplinary Team

Description

Sexual Assault Response Teams (SARTs) were created because survivors deserve a coordinated, compassionate response and communities function better when systems work together instead of in silos. This training explores the deeper meaning; behind meeting as a multidisciplinary team. Participants will learn how regular collaboration strengthens survivor-centered practices, reduces system-caused harm, improves investigations and prosecution, and builds trust across agencies. Through real examples, team discussion, and reflection, we'll unpack how SARTs transform individual roles into a unified, effective systems change. Whether your team is new, rebooting, or seasoned, this session helps reconnect members to the purpose, value, and impact of showing up at the table.
