Recognizing the role of touring musicians as ambassadors for their city, the Tulsa Office of Film, Music, Arts & Culture has launched a new initiative empowering local musicians to represent the city beyond its boundaries.
Through the Tulsa on Tour program, eligible touring musicians based in Tulsa can receive financial assistance of up to $1,000 per tour.
Applicants must have at least four dates in different cities confirmed, and they must be at least 100 miles from Tulsa.
Applications are accepted on a first-come basis while funds last. They are due within 10 days of the start of the tour.
