Mid-America Arts Alliance's (M-AAA) Artistic Innovations Grant Program opened in August, offering support for the development of new, original works in the M-AAA six-state region, including Oklahoma.
Through the program, artists and nonprofit arts organizations can receive up to $15,000 to cover expenses related to the production and premiere of their new work.
For individual artists, there is no cost share requirement. For nonprofit arts organizations, a 1:1 cost share is required.
Works in a wide range of creative disciplines are eligible for funding. Funded projects must include a minimum of two public-facing engagements.
Deadline to apply is September 24. For more information about allowable expenses and more, visit maaa.org.
