Two projects being administered through the Oklahoma Arts Council's Art in Public Places program have calls for artists closing in July. Qualifying artists and artist teams are encouraged to learn more and submit using the links below.
CLEET Facility in Ada (due July 12)
Artist qualifications are sought for a project at the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET) facility in Ada, Oklahoma.
This project will commission two large-scale paintings to be installed on the pimrary interior wall of the facility's entrance lobby. Paintings will be artistic interpretations highlighting the values, education, and training provided through CLEET on behalf of the people of Oklahoma. Click here to submit qualifications.
Route 66 Public Art Trail in Catoosa (due July 19)
Artist qualifications are sought for the design and installation of an artwork near Gazebo Park in Catoosa, situated between Route 66 and Cherokee Street. Part of the Route 66 Public Art Trail, the project should reflect the spirit of Catoosa and seek to capture the interest and imagination of residents and travelers along the famous highway.
