Child Care Resource and Referral
Oklahoma Partnership for School Readiness administers the Child Care Resource and Referral program on behalf of the state of Oklahoma. Eight community-based agencies and the state network at OPSR provide services to four groups: families, communities, employers and child care providers. These community-based agencies provide consumer education and provide technical assistance and training to child care providers.
Child Care Resource and Referral is responsible for making sure all Oklahoma families have access to quality care and education for their children through community-based resource and referral services. They are dedicated to promoting child care quality, affordability and availability for all Oklahoma children.
The Hispanic outreach specialist supports Spanish-speaking families and providers by making available translated parent resources and child care licensing requirements, and offering assistance to Hispanic child care providers. OPSR also organizes the annual Hispanic provider conference in Oklahoma, where Spanish-speaking providers from different areas of the state attend with all sessions either delivered in Spanish or translated into Spanish.
