Introduce two new members on the council: LaTrina Frazier and Carolyn McGhay

Review of name and verb changes to bylaws
Motion to add “adult” in A1-B and 4-B in front of “abuse, neglect” – approved.
Motion to change name of council to “OK State Council on Aging and Adult Protective Services” – approved
Motion to approve changes

New efforts to bring elevated priority to serving older Oklahoman by taking a fresh look at what it means to age in Oklahoma and work with partners to build and promote independence and transitions when required.

Community Hope Centers to meet people where they are with services they need and use wrap around services to fill the gaps

Access to services (change of websites and office closures)

Partner with libraries where offices have closed

Partnering with Dept of Health and others to provide in-home vaccines. Funding made possible thru ADvantage.

Phone calls will be made to homebound clients and offer vaccines

Senior Day had a good response from legislators
Hope Center Letter – withdraw letter since it was time sensitive and DHS has begun creating Hope Centers. Will hold the letter for future use if necessar
