Provider Update: December 4, 2019

Subject:Authorization of 200 Case Management Units for Initial Service Plan Year

Effective immediately, the ADvantage Service Plan Authorization Unit has begun authorizing new service plans with 200 case management units.

For new service plans received from 7/1/2019 through 9/30/2019, we believe a minimum of 200 units should have been applied due to the unit adjustments made to accommodate the rate increase.  If you identify new plans received during this time frame that did not receive a total of 200 units for the full plan year, please submit a spreadsheet of affected Members via PQ using an Inquiry Type of Claims Issue.

For new service plans received from 10/1 to the present, we are aware that these will not meet the 200 unit minimum requirement and will begin updating these authorizations.  Please DO NOT submit a spreadsheet for any new plans during this time frame.
