Provider update: June 22, 2021

To:  All ADvantage Providers

Subject: Urgent Action Required: CQI Adult Maltreatment Training

Date: June 22, 2021

In November 2020, MSU sent out a bulletin advising ADvantage providers that the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Manager from each Provider type delivering direct care services was required to complete the online Adult Maltreatment Training and upload verification into Harmony.  Specific Provider types whose CQI Managers must meet this requirement include Case Management, Home Care, Assisted Living, Hospice, and Adult Day Health.

The link to this bulletin, with instructions, is included here

Agencies that have not yet completed this requirement and uploaded the verification have until June 30, 2021 to get these actions done.

Agencies that have not met this requirement by June 30th will be taken off referral for at least 30 days, and possibly more if the requirement remains unmet.

It is extremely important for the waiver that this training is completed for each agency by the due date.  The MSU will be tracking compliance daily and will be reaching out to your agency in the event compliance is not achieved in the next few days.

If you have any questions regarding the information provided above, please feel free to contact us via Harmony Provider Question.
