     The purpose of this Subchapter is to describe the functions and responsibilities of Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS) Legal Services (LS) as well as the responsibilities of clients and OKDHS employees in the context of legally-related matters.OKDHS LS is composed of the General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, attorneys, administrative law judges, legal assistants, legal secretaries, and support staff.OKDHS LS provides legal opinions, consultation, representation, and other legal services to both OKDHS and its employees.This includes representation provided in legal actions of both present and former employees sued, in their individual capacity, as a consequence of performing work within the scope of their employment with OKDHS.
