Connect EBT Instuctions

This guide includes instructions for:


To register a new account, you will need:

  1. Active EBT Card Number
  2. Social Security Number (SSN)
  3. Date of Birth (DOB)
  4. Email Address

Registering a ConnectEBT account

1. Access the ConnectEBT Platform

  • Download the ConnectEBT App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or visit ConnectEBT Web Portal.
  • Once the app is installed or the webpage is loaded, locate and select "Oklahoma" from the dropdown menu at the top of the screen.
  • Depending on the platform:
    • App: Tap the "Create User Account" button.
    • Web Portal: Click the "Register" button on the homepage.

2. Input EBT Card Details

  • On the next screen, a text field will prompt you to enter your 16-digit active EBT card number.
  • Use only numbers, entering them without spaces or dashes. Ensure the card number is correct before proceeding.
  • Tap or click "Continue."

3. Enter Personal Information

  • The next page will ask for the following details:
    • Social Security Number (SSN): Enter 9 digits without dashes or spaces. For example, 123456789. If the cardholder does not have an SSN, enter 000000000.
    • Date of Birth (DOB): Enter the cardholder's date of birth in the MM/DD/YYYY format. For example, 01/01/1980.
  • Ensure the information matches the cardholder's whose name is on the front of the EBT card
  • Tap or click "Continue" to proceed.

4. Create Account Credentials

  • The system will prompt you to create your login credentials:
    • User ID:
      • Must be 6–12 characters long.
      • Can include a mix of letters and numbers but cannot be an email address.
      • Once created, the User ID cannot be modified or deleted.
    • Password:
      • Must be 6–12 characters long.
      • Must include at least one lowercase letter, one UPPERCASE letter, and one number. For example, Password1.
  • Select a security question from the dropdown menu and enter a case-sensitive answer with no spaces.
  • Review the information for accuracy, then click or tap "Continue" to finalize the setup.

How to Check Your Transaction History

ConnectEBT App
  1. Open the ConnectEBT App and log in using your User ID and password.
  2. From the home screen, locate the menu bar or navigation icons and select "Transactions."
    • On most devices, the "Transactions" icon will be a tab at the top of the screen or listed in a side menu accessible by tapping a hamburger (three-line) icon.
  3. The app will display a list of transactions from the past 90 days, starting with the most recent.
    • Each transaction will show the transaction date, location (e.g., store name or online retailer), and amount spent.
  4. To narrow down the results, tap the filter icon or select a specific date range if available.
  5. To view additional details about a specific transaction, tap on the transaction line item.
ConnectEBT Web Portal
  1. Log in to the Web Portal using your User ID and password.
  2. The home page will display the "Recent Transactions" section, showing a list of transactions from the last 30 days.
  3. To view more transactions:
    • Click "My Activity" from the top navigation bar.
    • Select "Transaction History" from the dropdown menu.
  4. On the Transaction History page, enter a specific date range in the "From" and "To" fields to view up to 90 days of history.
  5. Click "Go" to generate the results.
  6. For additional details about a specific transaction, click the corresponding line item in the list.

How to Change Your PIN

ConnectEBT App
  1. Log in to the app and navigate to the Home screen.
  2. Tap "Settings," usually located in the bottom navigation menu or accessible via the profile icon.
  3. In the Settings menu, select "Card PIN Selection."
  4. Enter your 16-digit active EBT card number in the provided field and click "Continue."
  5. On the next screen, enter the requested authentication information:
    • Last 4 digits of the SSN.
    • DOB in MM/DD/YYYY format.
  6. Create a new 4-digit PIN. Follow these guidelines:
    • Avoid patterns such as sequential numbers (e.g., 1234) or repeated digits (e.g., 1122).
    • Do not use easily guessed numbers, such as birth years.
  7. If an error message appears, confirm all fields are accurate and re-enter a secure PIN.
  8. Click "Continue".
  9. A notification box will appear confirming the PIN has been successfully changed.
  10. If error was received or the PIN selected is not secure, user will be prompted to repeat steps with a different PIN combination.
ConnectEBT Web Portal
  1. Log in to the Web Portal and click "Card" from the main menu.
  2. Select "Change PIN" from the dropdown options or side navigation bar.
  3. Enter your 16-digit EBT card number.
  4. Provide authentication details:
    • Last 4 digits of the SSN.
    • DOB in MM/DD/YYYY format.
  5. Enter a new 4-digit PIN and re-enter it to confirm. Ensure the new PIN follows security guidelines.
  6. Click "Submit."
  7. A notification box will appear confirming the PIN has been successfully changed.
