OKC Traffic Advisory 5-13-26

The following projects are weather permitting:

I-44 narrows near S.W. 89th St. Wednesday night

East and westbound I-44 will be intermittently narrowed between S.W. 89th St. in Oklahoma City and SH-37 north of Newcastle from 8 p.m. to midnight for routine maintenance.

I-35 ramp to I-240 closes, I-240 narrows Thursday night

The following closures will take place from 7 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday for ongoing construction. Drivers will notice that I-240 traffic will be shifted after Friday morning.

• The northbound I-35 off-ramp to eastbound I-240 will be closed
• The eastbound I-240 off-ramp to Eastern Ave. will be closed
• Eastbound I-240 will be narrowed at I-35

I-40 ramp closes at Garth Brooks Blvd. Thursday through Monday

The eastbound I-40 on-ramp from Garth Brooks Blvd. will be closed from 9 p.m. Thursday to 7 a.m. Monday for pavement repairs.

SH-152 narrows to one lane near Mustang daily through Friday

The following areas will be affected due to ongoing construction:

• SH-152 will be narrowed to one lane between Frisco Rd. and Clear Springs Rd. near Mustang with flaggers directing traffic from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through Friday
• Clear Springs Rd. will be narrowed to one lane between S.W. 59th St. and SH-152 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Friday, Monday and Tuesday

SH-152 closed at Banner Rd., near Union City through late spring 2026

All lanes of eastbound and westbound SH-152 are closed between Banner Rd. and Cemetery Rd. through late spring 2026 for reconstruction. Drivers can use US-81 to I-40 to SH-4 or US-81 to SH-37 to SH-4 as a detour.

SH-66 narrows near SH-4 in Yukon nightly through August

East and westbound SH-66 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction between 6th St. and SH-4/Cornwell Dr. in Yukon from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly through August for surface work.
