Statewide

 

I-35 lanes OPEN near Thackerville, Love Co.

All lanes of I-35 will be open north of SH-153, but narrowed with barrier wall, near Thackerville during the holiday. Drivers are urged to use caution as it remains a work zone.

 

I-40 ramps closed, lanes narrowed near Clinton, Custer Co.

The current closures are in place for a bridge and intersection reconstruction project:

• The eastbound I-40 off-ramp to Neptune Dr. is closed.
• The eastbound I-40 off-ramp to Gary Blvd. is closed.
• Eastbound and westbound I-40 is narrowed to one lane in each direction at Neptune Dr.

I-40 narrowed near Weatherford, Custer Co.  

Eastbound and westbound I-40 is narrowed to one lane in each direction near SH-54 in Weatherford for a bridge rehabilitation project.

 

I-44 narrowed to one lane near Lawton, Comanche Co.

I-44 is narrowed to one lane in each direction just south of 11th St. for bridge rehabilitation. 

 

US-59 narrowed near Barron, Adair Co.

US-59 is narrowed from SH-51 north near Barron for shoulder widening and bridge work. 

 

US-60 narrowed to one lane near Ringwood, Major Co.

US-60 is narrowed to one lane in both directions between Ringwood and Lahoma for a resurfacing and bridge project.

 

US-64 is narrowed to one lane near Guymon, Texas Co.

US-64 is narrowed to one lane controlled by a temporary traffic signal north of Guymon for bridge reconstruction over the Beaver River.

 

US-69 narrowed to one lane in Wagoner, Wagoner Co.

North and southbound US-69 is narrowed to one lane in each direction at N.W. 11th St. in Wagoner for bridge work.

 

US-69 narrowed to one lane south of Wagoner, Wagoner Co.

Northbound US-69 is narrowed to one lane between SH-351/Muskogee Turnpike and Wagoner for pavement rehabilitation.

 

US-75 narrowed to one lane north of Okmulgee, Okmulgee Co.

Northbound and southbound US-75 is narrowed to one lane in each direction near Preston, north of Okmulgee, for an interchange project.

 

US-177 narrowed to one lane near Shawnee, Pottawatomie Co.

US-177/US-270 is narrowed to one lane in each direction between SH-18 and I-40 near Shawnee for pavement rehabilitation.

 

US-183 is narrowed to one lane near Buffalo, Harper Co.

US-183 is narrowed to one lane controlled by a temporary signal south of Buffalo for pavement reconstruction.

 

US-259 narrowed south of Idabel, McCurtain Co.

US-259 is narrowed to one lane with temporary traffic signals just south of Idabel for bridge work.

 

US-270 narrowed northeast of Hartshorne, Pittsburg/Latimer Cos.

Eastbound US-270 will be narrowed to one lane just east of Gowen, northeast of Hartshorne, for surface work.

 

US-281 is narrowed to one lane in Alva, Woods Co.

Northbound and southbound US-281 is narrowed to one lane in each direction for pavement reconstruction in Alva.

 

SH-5 narrowed south of Tipton, Tillman Co.

SH-5 narrowed to one lane each direction with temporary traffic signals from Tipton to Fredrick, Tillman Co. for resurfacing.

 

SH-7 lanes OPEN in Duncan, Stephens Co.

All lanes of SH-7 are open, but narrowed with barrier wall, in Duncan at Elk Avenue. Traffic shifted to newly constructed ramps and the intersection with Elk Ave is currently controlled with a temporary traffic signal. 

 

SH-7 lanes narrowed near Sulphur, Murray Co.

SH-7 has narrowed lane widths between Sulphur and SH-1.

 

SH-16/Okay Rd. is narrowed to one lane near Muskogee, Muskogee Co.

Northbound and southbound SH-16/Okay Rd. is narrowed to one lane with a temporary traffic signal north of Muskogee, at the Arkansas Rive bridge, for a bridge rehabilitation project.

 

SH-20 narrowed to one lane near Hominy, Osage Co.

SH-20 is narrowed to one lane with temporary traffic signals controlling traffic between Hominy and Skiatook Lake for surface work.

 

SH-32 lanes narrowed near Marietta, Love Co.

SH-32 has narrowed lane widths between Marietta and Hickory Creek.

 

SH-71 over Belle Star Creek bridge closed east of Eufaula, McIntosh Co.

The SH-71 bridge over Belle Star Creek at the Eufaula Dam is closed for a bridge reconstruction project.

 

SH-82 narrowed near Tahlequah, Cherokee Co.

Northbound and southbound SH-82 is narrowed to one lane in each direction north of Tahlequah for a roadway realignment project.

 

SH-115 closed south of SH-19, Kiowa Co.

All lanes of SH-115 are closed two miles south of SH-19 near Saddle Mountain for bridge replacement.

 

SH-132 closed near Nash, Grant Co.

SH-132 is closed just north of US-64 near Nash for drainage structure replacement. Traffic is detoured using US-64, SH-38 and SH-11. 

 

SH-152 narrowed near Dill City, Washita Co.

SH-152 is narrowed to one lane in each direction with temporary traffic signals east of Dill City for construction.

 

Oklahoma City Metro

I-240 narrows at I-35 through 2026

East and westbound I-240 is narrowed to two lanes between Shields Blvd. and Eastern Ave. for ongoing construction.

 

I-44 ramps close at N.W. 10th St. through summer 2026 for City project

The east and westbound I-44 off-ramps (run north and south) to N.W.10th St. are closed through summer 2026 for a City of Oklahoma City bridge project.

 

N.W. 23rd St. narrows to one lane at Broadway Ave. through summer 2026

East and westbound N.W. 23rd St. will be intermittently narrowed between Broadway Ave. and Western Ave. through summer for a streetscape project in partnership with the City of Oklahoma City. 

 

SH-74/Lake Hefner Pkwy ramp narrowed at N.W. Expwy through summer 2026

The northbound SH-74/Lake Hefner Pkwy off-ramp to N.W. Expwy is narrowed and east and westbound N.W. Expwy is narrowed between SH-74/Lake Hefner Pkwy and N. Independence Ave. as part of an intersection improvement project.

 

Garth Brooks Blvd. narrowed to one lane at I-40 in Yukon through summer 2026

North and southbound Garth Brooks Blvd. is narrowed to one lane in each direction between Andrew Dr. and Health Center Parkway, under I-40, through summer 2026 for resurfacing. East and westbound I-40 on and off-ramps may be affected during this time. 

 

I-40 narrows at US-281 Spur in Canadian Co. through fall 2026

Eastbound and westbound I-40 is narrowed to one lane in both directions near US-281 Spur just west of El Reno through fall 2026 for a bridge project. Drivers should expect delays and consider alternate routes.

 

US-81 narrows near El Reno daily through August

North and southbound US-81 will have various, intermittent lane closures between S.W. 29th St. and Jensen Rd. near El Reno from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily through August for resurfacing.

 

SH-37/S.E. 4th St. closed at Broadway Ave. in Moore through summer 2026

East and westbound SH-37/S.E. 4th St. is closed between Broadway Ave. and Tower Dr. in Moore through summer 2026 as part of a railroad bridge project. 

 

Danforth Rd., Kelly Ave. narrowed in Edmond through summer 2026

East and westbound Danforth Rd. and north and southbound Kelly Ave. are narrowed to one lane in each direction at the intersection in Edmond through Spring for intersection expansion in partnership with the City of Edmond.

 

SH-66 narrowed to one lane at N. Midwest Blvd. in Edmond through mid-May

Eastbound SH-66 is narrowed to one lane between N. Midwest Blvd. and S. Douglas Blvd. through mid-May for a City of Edmond project.

 

Britton Rd. closed at SH-4 through mid-May

Britton Rd. is closed between SH-4 and N. Mustang Rd. through mid-May for surface work.

 

SH-66 narrows near SH-4 in Yukon nightly through August

East and westbound SH-66 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction between 6th St. and SH-4/Cornwell Dr. in Yukon from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly through August for surface work.

 

 

Tulsa Metro

I-44/US-75 interchange improvement continues through summer 2028

A major interchange improvement project continues at the interchange of I-44 and US-75 through summer 2028. Current closures include:

• The east and westbound I-44 ramps to northbound US-75 are closed. Drivers can detour using eastbound I-244 to northbound US-75.
• The southbound US-75 ramp to westbound I-44 is closed. Drivers can detour using westbound I-244.
• The southbound US-75 ramp to eastbound I-44 is closed. Drivers can detour using westbound I-244 to eastbound I-44.
• The southbound US-75 on-ramp from 41st St. is closed.
• The westbound I-44 off-ramp to Union Ave. is closed. Drivers can detour by exiting at 33rd W. Ave.
• The eastbound I-44 on-ramp from Skelly Dr. near Elwood Ave. is closed.

 

I-44, SH-66 interchange improvement continues in Catoosa through early 2027

Lane closures continue on east and westbound I-44, SH-66 and the I-44/Will Rogers Turnpike ramp to westbound I-44 in Catoosa for an interchange improvement project. Lanes are also narrowed in width. Current traffic impacts include:

• The westbound I-44 off-ramp to northbound SH-66 is closed. SH-66 traffic can detour using the 165th E. Ave. exit to rejoin eastbound I-44 and take the northbound SH-66 exit.
• The southbound SH-66 ramp to westbound I-44 has a limited merge area.
• The eastbound I-44 exit lane for SH-66 is shifted west of 193rd E. Ave.
• Eastbound I-44 traffic is shifted at 193rd E. Ave.
• The eastbound I-44 on-ramp from 193rd E. Ave. has a limited merge area.

 

I-244 off-ramp at 2nd St. (W leg IDL) closed

The westbound I-244 off-ramp to 2nd St. (west leg of the Inner Dispersal Loop) is closed for bridge rehabilitation.

 

US-75 narrows to one lane near Creek Turnpike in Jenks

North and southbound US-75 are narrowed to one lane in each direction between SH-364/Creek Turnpike and 96th St. in Jenks for bridge rehabilitation.

 

US-169 widening project in Owasso continues through summer 2026

Work continues on a widening project on US-169 between 66th St. N. and 86th St N. in Owasso. Drivers should expect narrowed lanes and a reduced speed limit through the work zone.

 

US-412 narrows to one lane near Sand Springs

East and westbound US-412 is narrowed to one lane in each direction at Shell Creek, between 177th W. Ave. and 129th W. Ave. near Sand Springs, for bridge rehabilitation.
