Statewide

 

I-35 lanes OPEN near Thackerville, Love Co.

All lanes of I-35 will be open north of SH-153. Drivers are urged to use caution as it remains a work zone.

 

I-40 ramps closed, lanes narrowed near Clinton, Custer Co.

The current closures are in place for a bridge and intersection reconstruction project:

• The eastbound I-40 off-ramp to Neptune Dr. is closed.
• The eastbound I-40 off-ramp to Gary Blvd. is closed.
• Eastbound and westbound I-40 is narrowed to one lane in each direction at Neptune Dr.

I-40 narrowed near Weatherford, Custer Co.  

Eastbound and westbound I-40 is narrowed to one lane in each direction near SH-54 in Weatherford for a bridge rehabilitation project.

 

I-44 narrowed to one lane near Lawton, Comanche Co.

I-44 is narrowed to one lane in each direction just south of 11th St. near Lawton for bridge rehabilitation. 

 

US-59 speed reduced between Jay and Grove, Delaware Co.

US-59 has narrowed lanes and a reduced speed limit between Jay and Grove for a widening project.

 

US-59 narrowed near Barron, Adair Co.

US-59 is narrowed from SH-51 north near Barron for shoulder widening and bridge work. 

 

US-59 narrowed north of Sallisaw, Sequoyah Co.

US-59 is narrowed between US-64 and SH-101 near Sallisaw for shoulder and bridge work.

 

US-60 narrowed to one lane near Ringwood, Major Co.

US-60 is narrowed to one lane in both directions between Ringwood and Lahoma for a resurfacing and bridge project.

 

US-62 narrowed to one lane east of Okmulgee, Okmulgee Co.

US-62 is narrowed to one lane in each direction between US-75 and SH-56 for bridge work.

 

US-64 is narrowed to one lane near Guymon, Texas Co.

US-64 is narrowed to one lane controlled by a temporary traffic signal north of Guymon for bridge reconstruction over the Beaver River.

 

US-69 narrowed to one lane near US-412 near Chouteau, Mayes Co.

US-69 is narrowed to one lane in each direction south of US-412 near Chouteau for reconstruction.

 

US-69 narrowed to one lane in Wagoner, Wagoner Co.

North and southbound US-69 is narrowed to one lane in each direction at N.W. 11th St. in Wagoner for bridge work.

 

US-69 narrowed to one lane south of Wagoner, Wagoner Co.

US-69 is narrowed to one lane in each direction between SH-351/Muskogee Turnpike and Wagoner for pavement rehabilitation.

 

US-70 narrowed near Ardmore, Carter Co.

US-70 is narrowed to one lane in each direction between US-77 and SH-77S near Ardmore for resurfacing.

 

US-75 narrowed to one lane near Okmulgee, Okmulgee Co.

US-75 is narrowed to one lane in each direction from SH-56 north 4 miles near Okmulgee for resurfacing.

 

US-75 narrowed to one lane north of Okmulgee, Okmulgee Co.

US-75 is narrowed to one lane in each direction near Preston, north of Okmulgee, for an interchange project.

 

US-75 narrowed to one lane near Beggs, Okmulgee Co.

US-75 is narrowed to one lane in both directions about 1 mile north of SH-16 for a bridge rehabilitation project.

 

US-177 narrowed to one lane near Shawnee, Pottawatomie Co.

US-177/US-270 is narrowed to one lane in each direction between SH-18 and I-40 near Shawnee for pavement rehabilitation.

 

US-259 narrowed south of Idabel, McCurtain Co.

US-259 is narrowed to one lane with temporary traffic signals just south of Idabel for bridge work.

 

US-270 narrowed northeast of Hartshorne, Pittsburg/Latimer Co.

Eastbound US-270 will be narrowed to one lane just east of Gowen, northeast of Hartshorne, for surface work.

 

US-281 is narrowed to one lane in Alva, Woods Co.

Northbound and southbound US-281 is narrowed to one lane in each direction for pavement reconstruction in Alva.

 

US-283 is narrowed to one lane in Altus, Jackson Co.

US-283 is narrowed to one lane each direction between D St. and Tamarack Rd. in Altus for resurfacing.

 

US-412 narrowed to one lane at Arkansas River, Pawnee Co.

US-412 is narrowed to one lane in each direction at the Arkansas River/Lake Keystone near Westport for a bridge rehabilitation project.

 

SH-7 lanes OPEN in Duncan, Stephens Co.

All lanes of SH-7 are open and will be shifted to new bridge and ramp alignments. Drivers are urged to use caution as the area remains a work zone. 

 

SH-7 lanes narrowed near Sulphur, Murray Co.

SH-7 has narrowed lane widths between Sulphur and SH-1.

 

SH-16/Okay Rd. is narrowed to one lane near Muskogee, Muskogee Co.

Northbound and southbound SH-16/Okay Rd. is narrowed to one lane with a temporary traffic signal north of Muskogee, at the Arkansas Rive bridge, for a bridge rehabilitation project.

 

SH-20 narrowed to one lane near Hominy, Osage Co.

SH-20 is narrowed to one lane with temporary traffic signals controlling traffic between Hominy and Skiatook Lake for surface work.

 

SH-29 lanes narrowed near Bray, Stephens Co.

SH-29 has narrowed lane widths between Bray and SH-76  for reconstruction and bridge work.

 

SH-32 lanes narrowed near Marietta, Love Co.

SH-32 has narrowed lane widths between Marietta and Hickory Creek.

 

SH-55 narrowed near Carter, Beckham Co.

SH-55 is narrowed to one lane with temporary traffic signals between SH-34 and SH-6 near Carter for resurfacing.

 

SH-71 over Belle Star Creek bridge closed east of Eufaula, McIntosh Co.

The SH-71 bridge over Belle Star Creek at the Eufaula Dam is closed for a bridge reconstruction project.

 

SH-82 narrowed near Tahlequah, Cherokee Co.

Northbound and southbound SH-82 is narrowed to one lane in each direction north of Tahlequah for a roadway realignment project.

 

SH-132 closed near Nash, Grant Co.

SH-132 is closed just north of US-64 near Nash for drainage structure replacement. Traffic is detoured using US-64, SH-38 and SH-11. 

 

 

Oklahoma City Metro

I-240 narrows at I-35 through 2026

East and westbound I-240 is narrowed to two lanes between Shields Blvd. and Eastern Ave. for ongoing construction.

 

I-44 narrowed at N.W. Expressway through spring 2027

Eastbound I-44 will be narrowed to two lanes between the eastbound N.W. Expressway on-ramp and Western Ave. through spring 2027.

• The eastbound I-44 on-ramp from eastbound N.W. Expressway will have a limited merge area. 

SH-74/Lake Hefner Pkwy ramp narrowed at N.W. Expwy through summer 2026

The northbound SH-74/Lake Hefner Pkwy off-ramp to N.W. Expwy is narrowed and east and westbound N.W. Expwy is narrowed between SH-74/Lake Hefner Pkwy and N. Independence Ave. as part of an intersection improvement project.

 

I-40 narrows at US-281 Spur in Canadian Co. through fall 2026

Eastbound and westbound I-40 is narrowed to one lane in both directions near US-281 Spur just west of El Reno through fall 2026 for a bridge project. Drivers should expect delays and consider alternate routes.

 

US-81 narrows near El Reno daily through August

North and southbound US-81 will have various, intermittent lane closures between S.W. 29th St. and Jensen Rd. near El Reno from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily through August for resurfacing.

 

SH-37/S.E. 4th St. closed at Broadway Ave. in Moore through summer 2026

East and westbound SH-37/S.E. 4th St. is closed between Broadway Ave. and Tower Dr. in Moore through summer 2026 as part of a railroad bridge project. 

 

Tulsa Metro

I-44/US-75 interchange improvement continues through summer 2028

A major interchange improvement project continues at the interchange of I-44 and US-75 through summer 2028. Current closures include:

• The east and westbound I-44 ramps to northbound US-75 are closed. Drivers can detour using eastbound I-244 to northbound US-75.
• The southbound US-75 ramp to westbound I-44 is closed. Drivers can detour using westbound I-244.
• The southbound US-75 ramp to eastbound I-44 is closed. Drivers can detour using westbound I-244 to eastbound I-44.
• The southbound US-75 on-ramp from 41st St. is closed.
• The north and southbound US-75 ramps at 61st St. are closed.
• The westbound I-44 off-ramp to Union Ave. is closed. Drivers can detour by exiting at 33rd W. Ave.
• The eastbound I-44 on-ramp from Skelly Dr. near Elwood Ave. is closed.

 

I-44, SH-66 interchange improvement continues in Catoosa through early 2027

Lane closures continue on east and westbound I-44, SH-66 and the I-44/Will Rogers Turnpike ramp to westbound I-44 in Catoosa for an interchange improvement project. Lanes are also narrowed in width. Current traffic impacts include:

• The westbound I-44 off-ramp to northbound SH-66 is closed. SH-66 traffic can detour using the 165th E. Ave. exit to rejoin eastbound I-44 and take the northbound SH-66 exit.
• The southbound SH-66 ramp to westbound I-44 has a limited merge area.
• The eastbound I-44 exit lane for SH-66 is shifted west of 193rd E. Ave.
• The eastbound I-44 on-ramp from 193rd E. Ave. has a limited merge area.

 

I-244 off-ramp at 2nd St. (W leg IDL) closed

The westbound I-244 off-ramp to 2nd St. (west leg of the Inner Dispersal Loop) is closed for bridge rehabilitation.

 

US-75 narrows to one lane near Creek Turnpike in Jenks

North and southbound US-75 are narrowed to one lane in each direction between SH-364/Creek Turnpike and 96th St. in Jenks for bridge rehabilitation.

 

US-169 widening project in Owasso continues through summer 2026

Drivers should expect narrowed lanes and a reduced speed limit on north and southbound US-169 between 66th St. N. and 86th St N. in Owasso for a widening project.

 

US-412 narrows to one lane near Sand Springs

East and westbound US-412 is narrowed to one lane in each direction at Shell Creek, between 177th W. Ave. and 129th W. Ave. near Sand Springs, for bridge rehabilitation.
