Eastbound and westbound SH-9E will be intermittently narrowed to one lane in each direction between Jenkins Ave. and US-77/Classen Blvd. through fall 2025 for bridge replacement over Bishop Creek.
Crews will work to limit closures for home football games and major travel events, however, drivers should plan ahead and prepare for additional travel time.
The $10 million project was awarded to Allen Contracting, Inc./Shell Construction Co., Inc. by the Transportation Commission in July 2024.
