US-69 narrowed for pavement project in Eufaula, McIntosh Co.

The project below is weather permitting:

North and southbound US-69 is narrowed to one lane in each direction between the SH-9 junction and the SH-150 junction in Eufaula through late 2021 as part of an ongoing pavement reconstruction project.

The $32 million project began in late 2020 and will rebuild four miles of pavement on US-69. Exits for SH-9 and US-69B will be closed at times throughout the project, although one exit will remain open in this corridor at a time.

Drivers should use caution and plan ahead for extra travel time in this area. The overall project is expected to complete in late December 2021, weather permitting.
