Purpose

The virtual public open house will present the preliminary options for proposed improvements and allow the public to submit input on those options.

Description

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT), in cooperation with the Cities of Norman and Moore, is hosting a Virtual Open House to present the progress of the I-35 Corridor Study in Cleveland County. The limits of the study extend from south of Robinson Street in Norman to north of S.W. 4th Street in Moore.

The preliminary engineering study has identified possible improvements for all roadway users that increase capacity, safety, access, and connectivity along I-35 in Cleveland County. The proposed improvement options primarily include converting frontage roads from two-way to one-way, reconstructing interchanges, and changing the locations of some on- and off-ramps.
