Description

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), is proposing to improve the intersection at US-75 and Preston Road. This section of US-75 is a four lane divided highway with four 12-foot wide driving lanes, 10-foot wide outside shoulders and 4-foot wide inside shoulders. There is a history of severe collisions at the US-75 and Preston Road intersection, including over 30 injury collisions and 2 fatalities in the past ten years. The purpose of the project is to improve safety and accessibility of US-75 and Preston Road.

The proposed improvements would construct a bridge on Will Sampson Road/Preston Road over US-75 with on and off ramps for both directions of US-75.A full access interchange would improve the safety and accessibility at US-75 and Preston Road.
