Purpose

The purpose of the Open House is to present information about the proposed improvements to SH-66 in Lincoln County, OK and obtain information from the public to further assist in the identification of critical social, economic, and environmental effects that may result from the project.

Description

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), is proposing to improve State Highway 66 (SH-66) west of Wellston in Lincoln County. The project extents are from the Oklahoma County line extending east approximately 3.25 miles to SH-102 at Wellston. The proposed project would also eliminate the connection at SH-66B/SH-66, removing that portion of SH-66B extending east to County Road 332 and constructing a new SH-66B on County Road 332 to connect with SH-102.

As part of our efforts to keep the public informed of this project and involved in the decision process, ODOT has scheduled a Public Open House to update the public on this project and present the proposed design for this project including the proposed access modification at SH-66/SH-66B. The Open House will use a come-and-go format; no formal presentation will be given so you can attend at your convenience.
