CALL A RIDE PUBLIC TRANSIT

Call A Ride Public provides public transportation demand response service within Pontotoc County. All services are open to the public.

Call A Ride's mission is to provide transportation to the citizens of Pontotoc County and provide equal access to medical care, employment, education, social services, recreation and commerce.

• CASH ONLY & Correct Change. There will be a 3-minute wait time. Riders cannot change their destination after boarding.
• All riders must wear seat belts, and mobility devices must be secured AT ALL TIMES!
• Children under the age of 8 or under 4'9" height must be secured in a car seat. Children cannot be left unattended in the vehicle.
• Designated service animals are welcome; all other animals MUST be crated. $1 fare per animal crated.
• We will not transport big, bulky, flammable, combustible, or any other items deemed unsafe.
• It will be at the discretion of the driver to assist the passenger with personal items.
• CAR is not responsible for any personal items left in the vehicle.
• No possession, consuming, distributing, or soliciting of drugs, marijuana, tobacco products, or alcohol on a CAR vehicle.
• No poor hygiene. The offending rider can and will be asked to leave the vehicle.
• Tickets may be purchased at the CAR office during normal working hours of M-F 8 AM to 3 PM at 15425 CR 3540, or from a driver. NO refunds on tickets.
