East and westbound I-40 will each be narrowed to one lane at US-69B (mm 265) in Checotah, McIntosh County, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and again Friday for surface work. Eastbound lanes will be narrowed first, followed by the westbound lanes. The eastbound I-40 on-ramp from US-69B will also be temporarily closed while the eastbound lanes are narrowed. This work is weather permitting.
