I-244 (W leg IDL) narrows Thursday night
Eastbound I-244 (west leg of the Inner Dispersal Loop) will be narrowed to two lanes between 7th St. (mm 4C) and US-412 (mm 5B) from 7 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday as part of an ongoing bridge rehabilitation project.
I-244 on-ramp from 1st St. (W leg IDL) closed through 2023
The eastbound I-244 on-ramp from 1st St. (west leg of the Inner Dispersal Loop) is closed through 2023 for a bridge rehabilitation project.
US-169 narrows to one lane at I-44 Thursday night
Southbound US-169 will be narrowed to one lane at I-44 from 7 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday for traffic realignment. Southbound US-169 will remain narrowed to two lanes through mid August for bridge repairs as part of an ongoing interchange improvement project. Drivers should be aware of a new traffic pattern in the area Friday morning.
Lanes closed at I-44 and US-169 interchange through late 2023
Motorists should be aware of lane and ramp closures at the interchange of I-44 and US-169 through late 2023 for an interchange improvement project. Impacts include:
- Southbound US-169 is narrowed two lanes at I-44 through mid August
- The westbound I-44 ramp to southbound US-169 (mm 234A) is closed through August.
- The northbound US-169 ramp to westbound I-44 is closed through August.
- The westbound I-44 collector road is closed through August.
- East and westbound I-44 both narrow to two lanes at US-169 (mm 234A) until further notice.
- Traffic is shifted on the southbound US-169 ramp to westbound I-44 until further notice.
- Traffic is shifted to the right lane of the eastbound collector road under US-169, and
- The speed limit is reduced to 55 MPH on both I-44 and US-169.
Drivers are urged to use extra caution throughout the work zone and expect delays, especially during peak travel times.
US-75 narrows at SH-67 in Glenpool Friday
North and southbound US-75 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction at SH-67/151st. St. in Glenpool from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday for concrete work.
Westbound I-244 closed Friday through Sunday in east Tulsa, US-169 also closed nightly
All lanes of westbound I-244/US-412 will be closed between the I-44/I-244 eastern split (I-44 mm 236B) and the US-169 interchange (mm 13) from 8 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday for equipment movement and beam installation as part of an ongoing bridge replacement project. The westbound I-244 on-ramps from 129th E. Ave. and Garnett Rd. will also be closed during this time. Motorists bound for US-169 can detour using westbound I-44 to eastbound US-64/SH-51/Broken Arrow Expressway.
North and southbound US-169 will be closed at I-244 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly Friday through Sunday for beam installation. Southbound US-169 traffic will be directed to westbound I-244 and northbound US-169 traffic will be directed to eastbound I-244 during these times.
US-75 narrowed to one lane near Creek Turnpike through mid September for bridge repairs
Northbound US-75 is narrowed to one lane between SH-364/Creek Turnpike and 96th St. in Jenks through mid September for bridge repairs. The westbound SH-364/Creek Turnpike ramp to northbound US-75 is controlled by a stop sign as part of this work zone.
US-64/Memorial Dr. narrows at 126th St. in Bixby through mid August
US-64/Memorial Dr. is narrowed to one lane in each direction at 126th St. in Bixby through mid August for traffic signal installation.

The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority projects below are weather permitting:
Muskogee Turnpike ramps close at US-69 through summer 2023
The SH-351/Muskogee Turnpike eastbound on-ramp and westbound off-ramp at US-69 near Muskogee are closed through summer 2023 for conversion to all electric tolling.
Ongoing Highway Construction Projects

SH-51/US-64/BA Expwy narrows near downtown Tulsa through late 2023
East and westbound SH-51/US-64/Broken Arrow Expwy are both reduced to two lanes between Lewis Ave. and US-75 (southeast corner of the Inner Dispersal Loop) through late 2023 for a pavement rehabilitation project. Lane and ramp closures include:
- The westbound SH-51 ramp to northbound US-75 (southeast corner of the Inner Dispersal Loop) is closed through early August.
- The westbound SH-51 on-ramp from 13th Pl. near Utica Ave. is closed through early August.
- The eastbound SH-51 off-ramp to Utica Ave. is closed through early August.
- The eastbound SH-51 on-ramp from 14th St. is closed through early August.
- The westbound SH-51 on-ramp from 15th St. is closed through early August.
Bridge replacement project continues at I-244 and US-169 through spring 2024
A bridge replacement project at the northbound US-169 ramp to westbound I-244/US-412 will replace the ramp on a new alignment adjacent to the current ramp. Work is expected to be completed in spring 2024, weather permitting. Related work will also include joint sealing and repair on the I-244/US-412 bridges over Mingo Creek, just west of the interchange. Current closures include:
- The northbound US-169 ramp to westbound I-244/US-412 is narrowed to one lane through March 2024
SH-11 narrows near Tulsa International Airport through late 2023
East and westbound SH-11 is narrowed to one lane in each direction at Virgin St./Airport Rd. through late 2023 for a bridge rehabilitation project. Some lane closures on Virgin St./Airport Rd. under the bridges can be expected. Access to Tulsa International Airport from westbound SH-11 will not be affected during construction.
SH-11 narrows between Yale Ave. and Sheridan Rd. through July
East and westbound SH-11 will both be narrowed to one lane between Yale Ave. and Sheridan Rd. through July as part of a bridge repair project.

Bridge project continues on US-169 at 76th St. N. in Owasso through fall 2023
Drivers can expect reduced speed limits and various lane closures on northbound and southbound US-169 at 76th St. N. in Owasso through fall 2023 for a bridge replacement project. Two lanes of traffic in each direction on US-169 will be maintained during daytime hours; however, some overnight and weekend closures may reduce the highway to one lane in each direction for traffic safety purposes. Additionally, some lane closures on 76th St. N. under the bridge can be expected as part of the project.
Memorial Dr. narrows at US-169 in South Tulsa through spring 2024
North and southbound Memorial Dr. are narrowed to two lanes in each direction at the US-169 and SH-364/Creek Turnpike interchange for an intersection improvement project through spring 2024. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained on northbound and southbound Memorial Dr. between 93rd St. and 97th St. throughout the majority of the project. No ramp closures are expected for either US-169 or SH-364/Creek Turnpike during construction.
Drivers are urged to give full attention to the road throughout construction and be aware of shifting lanes and new traffic configurations as work progresses.
SH-51 narrows at Muskogee Turnpike in BA through early 2024
Westbound SH-51 is narrowed to two lanes at the junction with SH-351/Muskogee Turnpike in Broken Arrow through early 2024 for bridge replacement as part of a City of Broken Arrow street widening project. The lane closure begins on the Muskogee Turnpike near the junction. Lanes will also be shifted on eastbound SH-51 through the work zone.
US-412 narrows to one lane over Verdigris River through 2023
Eastbound and westbound US-412 narrow to one lane each direction at the Verdigris River in Rogers County through late 2023 for a bridge replacement project.
