This project is weather permitting:
Northbound I-35 is now open to two lanes but lanes are shifted between SH-7 (mm 55) near Davis and West Ave. (mm 70) south of Pauls Valley for pavement reconstruction. Speeds are reduced in the work zone and a wide load restriction is in place for this segment of the corridor.
Ramps are expected to remain open, but motorists can expect intermittent night-time narrowing to one lane as the project progresses.
Drivers should plan additional travel time in the area or locate an alternate route such as US-77.
The $30 million project was awarded by the Oklahoma Transportation Commission to Duit Construction Co. Inc. and is expected to complete in early 2024, weather permitting.
