Bridge replacement project begins Monday on US-75 near Beggs in Okmulgee Co.

An approximately $11 million bridge replacement project begins Monday, Jan. 9, on US-75 at US-75A/SH-16 near Beggs in Okmulgee County. During construction, traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction. This project is expected to be completed in late 2023. The Oklahoma Transportation Commission awarded the contract for this project to Sherwood Construction Inc. in September 2022.
