SH-51 narrows at Hennessey with flaggers directing traffic through Saturday

SH-51 is now open to two lanes between Mitchell Rd. in Hennessey and County Rd. N2940 in Kingfisher County. The ongoing bridge rehabilitation, widening and resurfacing project continues through winter 2022, weather permitting.

Motorists should plan extra travel time through the work zone and use caution in the area.

The more than $12 million contract for this project was awarded to The Cummins Construction Co. Inc. of Enid.
