US-77/Division St. narrows in Guthrie for start of sidewalk construction project through fall 2021

This project is weather permitting:

Northbound US-77/Division St. will be narrowed to one lane between Industrial Rd. and Grant Ave. in Guthrie starting today for workers to mobilize equipment for a sidewalk construction project.

Work also will take place along SH-33/Noble St. between Ash St. and just east of Drexel Ave. later in the project. Motorists can expect intermittent lane closures along US-77/Division St. and SH-33/Noble Ave. within the project area through early fall 2021. The contractor will communicate with businesses and residences along the length of the project ahead of impacts to driveways and entrances.

The $873,000 project was awarded by the Oklahoma Transportation Commission in November 2020 to C-P Integrated Services Inc. of Oklahoma City. Work is expected to complete in early fall 2021.
