SH-85A narrowed near Bernice in Delaware Co.

Monday, March 29, 2021

The project below is weather permitting:

East and westbound SH-85A is narrowed to one lane with temporary signals in place near Bernice in Delaware County as part of an ongoing bridge replacement project.

The $14 million project began earlier this month and is replacing the structurally deficient SH-85A bridge at Horse Creek. This is located approximately two miles southwest of the SH-125 junction.

The temporary signals are on a timer which allow traffic to safely cross through the work zone one direction at a time. Drivers should plan ahead for extra travel time in this area and obey the signals.

The overall project is expected to complete in spring 2022, weather permitting.
