In-person meeting set for Jan. 3 in Catoosa to seek public input on SH-66, I-44/US-412 interchange

Thursday, December 29, 2022

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is seeking public input on two options to improve the SH-66 and I-44/US-412 interchange in Catoosa. An in-person public meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 3, to present information on the proposed improvements in Rogers and Wagoner counties. Additionally, the public may review and leave comments on a virtual open house presentation online through Jan. 13.

The options being considered are proposed to accommodate future traffic volumes, increase safety and minimize localized congestion by improving the operation of the interchange. The open house public meeting will feature a recorded presentation explaining the purpose and need for the improvements, environmental features and details of the two interchange improvement alternatives under consideration. Staff will be available to answer questions.

After the meeting, the public may view the two interchange alternatives online at www.odot.org/publicmeetings and see additional information about the project as well as to submit comments.
