Virtual open house underway for proposed SH-100/Arkansas River bridge improvements in Muskogee County

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is hosting a virtual open house to provide information on proposed improvements to the SH-100 bridge over the Arkansas River in Muskogee County. This segment of SH-100 also has a dual designation of US-64.

The current structure is narrow and at-risk of becoming structurally deficient. The proposed project would replace the bridge with a wider structure including shoulders along the existing location.

The public can visit www.odot.org/SH100ArkansasRiver through February 26 to view the proposal and other materials about the project and also provide comments. This participation will help identify any critical social, economic or environmental effects and assist with the project planning.
