Chris Wallace
District One Engineer

Chris Wallace, District Engineer for ODOTs Division One in Muskogee, has been with the department since 2005.

Shortly after graduating from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 2005, he joined ODOT as an Engineer-in-Training at the El Reno Residency. Wallace became the Division Four Area Maintenance Manager in 2009 and was later promoted to Stimulus Coordinator. As Stimulus Coordinator, Wallace worked closely in helping with projects in coordination with the Stimulus Act in 2009. In 2010, he became District One Traffic Engineer and then Resident Engineer at the Muskogee Residency.

In 2012, Wallace served as the Construction Engineer for District One until appointed to his current position in November 2016. The district engineer oversees all maintenance and construction activities on highways and interstates in Adair, Cherokee, Haskell, McIntosh, Muskogee, Okmulgee, Sequoyah and Wagoner counties in eastern Oklahoma.

Wallace was born in Burkburnett, Texas and served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1996 to 2000. He and his wife, Felicia, have two children and live in Fort Gibson.
