The Oklahoma Transportation Commission’s monthly meeting is scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, March 3, in the R.A. Ward Transportation Building, 200 N.E. 21st St., Oklahoma City. Members of the public and media are invited to attend or watch the livestream video online.
Items to be addressed at the meeting:
- Oklahoma Department of Transportation Executive Director Tim Gatz will discuss ODOT’s response to the recent winter weather events.
- Mention will be made of the 2025-2026 state map which highlights Route 66 in celebration of the Mother Road turning 100 in 2026.
- Commissioners will be given an update on the status of federal funding.
- Gatz will announce the new District 4 Engineer who will be overseeing highway maintenance and construction operations for the nine counties in north-central Oklahoma, including the Oklahoma City metro.
